circaVie
"
circaVie, or "times of your life," is a place to celebrate your life in an exciting new way ... chronologically through an interactive timeline. Tell your life story or the story of your latest road trip, a day to remember, or a trip around the world. Any time, any picture, any video - mark it here and share it everywhere. This is an date sharing software.
People can make their own timeline with impressive photos and images which is on web. These days many people have their own digital camera. But where is gone the pictures which they took? I think most of it become stock of their computer and its decrease comptuter's memory so I find the good way to make the most of those pictures. circaVie can be the good record of our life. It can record our life chronologically. We can make our chronology with our memorial pictures and share each other.

Lesson6

Think
What do you currently do when a teacher asks you to collaborate with other students on a project? What do you now if you want to show someone else what you have done? What do you do if you need to work on it at the same time?

I always manage time to meet all of with groupmates. This is very difficult for ICU students because they are often so busy. When we meet, we print out what we done or we have meeting in ILC room and do the work together But this is not efficient. So I really wanted to find good way to do groupwork.

Explain
Write a post reflecting on Google Docs & Spreadsheets with reference to the four Key Questions. (SCICU e-Portfolio)

Social Computing Key Questions:

1. What are the main skills needed to use social software?
Basic computer skill and knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel.
2. What are the affordances (what the software makes possible, what it impedes)?
Surely we can have meetings without see each other, because we can use online communication tools like messenger. However this is an ineffective way, it needs many time. For example if a person send some files to others, all other people have to download the file individually. It is waste of time. Google Doc will solve this problem.

3. How can the technology be used to network professionally and connect users to learning resources?

Google Doc connect to Google Reader. So we can check renewal date at a sight.

4. What learned skills and understandings may promote your development as an effective learner in the digital age?
It will save our time. We can have meetings more easily and frequently without meeting face to face.

Which ones don't? Can you think why not?

Think
Do you need an e-portfolio? Please watch this presentation. (This presentation describes use of a wiki, while you will use a blog for your e-portfolio)
